About Sketch Monkey
Meet the man behind the whimsical world of Sketch Monkey Entertainment, Justin Dick! A visual arts enthusiast, Justin honed his craft at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts and proudly graduated from the University of South Florida’s College of Visual and Performing Arts in 2007. In 2013, he dipped his toes into the lively world of caricature art, starting at the Florida Aquarium, where his passion for bringing laughter to faces truly began.
2014 marked a turning point as Justin opened his own beach stand on Clearwater Beach’s iconic Pier 60, sketching the vibrant personalities of locals and tourists alike. His artistic charm extended to the Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival, becoming a seasonal sensation with his lively caricatures.
In 2020, Justin traded his caricature pad for a diaper bag, embracing the role of a stay-at-home dad. However, the artistry itch never left him. In late 2023, fueled by a renewed creative fire, he relaunched Sketch Monkey, instantly becoming a sensation at events across Central and Southwest Florida, as well as his beloved Tampa Bay Area.
